Game Tester Role

We are seeking an accomplished Game Tester to take on a challenging position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and execute thorough QA tests for mobile games across Android and iOS platforms.
  • Create detailed test cases based on game design and user stories, ensuring accurate reproduction and severity classification.
  • Conduct functional, regression, compatibility, and exploratory testing on a wide range of devices and OS versions.
  • Identify and log bugs using tools like JIRA or similar, communicating issues to the development team.
  • Test core gameplay, UI/UX, in-app purchases, ads, push notifications, and analytics to ensure high-quality game performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate issues and validate fixes.
  • Perform network condition testing, device compatibility checks, and performance validation.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA process improvements and documentation.
  • Stay updated with mobile platform changes, device trends, and testing tools to ensure optimal testing strategies.

Requirements:
• Strong understanding of mobile game development and testing principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with testing tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
