Key Responsibilities:

  1. Edit Video Footage: Transform raw footage into compelling video content by editing and assembling recorded material.
  2. Create Engaging Animations: Use animation techniques to create engaging visual elements that enhance storytelling and convey complex ideas.
  3. Collaborate with Content Team: Work closely with the content team to develop and implement video concepts and styles that meet our audience's needs.
  4. Optimize Videos for YouTube: Ensure all videos meet YouTube's technical requirements and best practices for optimal performance and discoverability.
  5. Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in video editing and animation to deliver high-quality content.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Video Editing: 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube or other online platforms.
  2. Proficiency in Video Editing Software: Proficient in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  3. Animation Skills: Strong understanding of animation techniques and proficiency in animation software like After Effects, Blender, or similar.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with the content team.
  5. Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous video editing and animation work is a must.

Technical Requirements:

  1. Video Editing Software: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
  2. Motion Graphics and Visual Effects: Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects software like After Effects, Blender, or similar (preferred).
  3. Video Compression Techniques: Understanding of video compression techniques and optimization for YouTube's platform.
  4. Different File Formats: Ability to work with different file formats, codecs, and resolutions (4K, HD, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. YouTube Experience: Experience working with YouTube's video algorithms, SEO, and best practices for video uploads.
  2. Strong Storytelling Skills: Strong storytelling skills and ability to transform raw footage into engaging content.
  3. Familiarity with Modern YouTube Trends: Familiarity with modern YouTube trends and audience preferences.
