Systems / Network IT Consultant

We are seeking a well-rounded IT professional to join our team as a System/Network IT Consultant. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The primary responsibilities of this role will include:

  1. Assisting with helpdesk ticket escalations and change management requests.
  2. Monitoring clients' servers and networking through MSP platform tools.
  3. Managing multiple Microsoft Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, replication, file, and GPO.
  4. Identifying improvements for customers' infrastructure and providing recommendations for upgrades.
  5. Collaborating with the Sr Consultant on project planning and implementation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in networking with a focus on Cisco technologies, as well as experience working with Microsoft Azure migration, VMs, security, storage, and other related areas.

Job Requirements
  1. A well-rounded, multi-vendor technical skillset with emphasis on Microsoft, Dell SonicWall, and Cisco technologies.
  2. A consulting mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments managed with Active Directory.
  4. A minimum of 3 years of network experience working with switches, gateways, UTM firewalls, and configuring VLANs and routing in Cisco hardware.
