Position Overview:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, including housekeeping, preparing and checking shipments, unloading and loading, and counting inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading, unloading, picking, staging, stacking, and moving of product
  • Assisting in reviewing daily workloads and redistributing assignments to meet required deadlines
  • Managing vendor compliance and inventory control and training warehouse employees
  • Printing and reviewing reports to monitor warehouse performance and compliance with customer's requirements
  • Inspecting, maintaining, and performing minor maintenance on warehouse equipment and ensuring the warehouse is clean and safe
  • Complying with customer requirements and procedures, periodic inventories, and offsite operations as well as monitoring and complying with Nissin, US Customs, HAZMAT, OSHA, CTPAT and TSA rules and regulations
  • Preparing manifest for containers and/or any manifest required shipments
  • Inventory management by counting and verifying model numbers and quantities
  • Ensuring forklifts and other equipment are fully operational

Requirements:

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess knowledge of safety and security procedures including Forklift operation, in accordance with US Customs, HAZMAT, OSHA, CTPAT, and TSA manuals
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Minimum GED, High School Diploma preferred
  • Able to operate forklift, handjack, pallet lift
  • Must possess current forklift certification
  • Previous experience with RF scanners and WMS systems
  • Minimum 2 years related warehouse experience
