Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a passion for testing and quality assurance. You will be responsible for developing test cases, executing testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop test cases through thorough research and analysis of test requirements.
  • Execute testing directly or leverage offshore resources while ensuring accurate results, identifying failure patterns, and supporting bug triage processes to bring issues to closure.
  • Collaborate with onshore, offshore, and project team members as needed for project success.
  • Perform black box and grey box testing.
  • Review software technical design documents and detailed business requirement documents to identify testing shortfalls.
  • Identify, log, and manage the life cycle of bugs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 1 year of functional and back-end testing experience of eCommerce websites or comparable complex systems.
  2. Experience and domain knowledge of B2B & B2C Web Applications.
  3. Knowledge of E-Commerce business platform.
  4. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent required.
  5. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  6. Experience with test design, creation, execution, and reporting of manual test cases.
  7. Strong knowledge of SDLC and SQA methodology, as well as experience testing on an Agile team.
  8. Have developed Test Cases for System Level Testing.
  9. Strong analytical/problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail and communication.
  10. Should understand requirements fully and initiate discussions with concerned people to seek clarifications on unclear/unspecified requirements.
  11. Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from senior management down to staff level.
  12. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent collaboration skills.
