Job Opportunity

This position plays a vital role in the finance team, focusing on various accounting and financial tasks. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and assisting with overall financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transaction Recording: Accurately record day-to-day banking and credit card transactions in financial books, ensuring all entries are complete and error-free.
  2. Bank Reconciliations: Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure our financial records match, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  3. Accounts Management: Record bills and invoices, and ensure timely processing. Additionally, maintain a record of outstanding customer invoices and vendor bills.
  4. Journal Entries: Enter general journal entries as needed to capture any financial transactions not fitting into standard categories.
  5. Vendor and Customer Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor and customer statements to ensure our records align with external statements, addressing any discrepancies.
  6. Monthly Accruals: Accurately record month-end accruals to reflect outstanding expenses or revenues for the period, ensuring our financial statements remain up-to-date.
  7. Payroll Assistance: Assist in recording and processing payroll transactions.
  8. Prepaid Expense Schedules: Prepare and maintain prepaid expense schedules to accurately reflect prepaid expenses on the balance sheet.
  9. Fixed Assets Register: Maintain an up-to-date fixed assets register, tracking the value and depreciation of tangible assets.
  10. Inventory Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory records with physical counts and make necessary adjustments to maintain accurate inventory valuations.
  11. Reporting Compliance: Generate 1099 data for review.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting preferably with US clients.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other similar accounting software is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA or other relevant certifications are advantageous.

This role requires flexibility to work shift hours 6 PM - 3 AM Pakistan time. The selected candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health insurance, OPD, training and development, and life insurance.
