Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

Job Description:

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at Giant is responsible for providing financial guidance to drive business decisions. We are seeking a skilled FP&A professional to support our senior analysts in preparing financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, including the preparation of dashboards and executive summaries.
  • Help develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning efforts.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and leadership requests.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior analysts by reviewing their work for accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in the automation and improvement of reporting processes and tools.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for senior leadership, board meetings, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial reporting standards.

Requirements:

  • CA/CPA/CFA/ACCA or other professional credentials are preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance department of a renowned organization.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Experience working as part of a global team is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task.
