Job Description:
The Assistant Store Manager plays a critical role in the store management team by developing and leading the sales team, contributing to the successful implementation of strategies and operational excellence that drive brand equity, customer satisfaction, and financial growth. This role assumes responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager or Associate Store Manager.

About The Role
  1. Business Acumen: Demonstrates strong business acumen, understanding organizational objectives, and strategically prioritizes and budgets in partnership with the Store Manager to align with company priorities and values.
  2. Store Business Strategies: Works with the Store Manager to develop and implement store business strategies, initiatives, and growth across all categories; communicates goals to the team, tracks store performance to meet or exceed established store and individual sales and performance goals daily.
BUILD A DIVERSE & INCLUSIVE CULTURE
  1. Culture and Product Knowledge: Leads and participates in training processes for new hires and current employees on LS&CO culture, product knowledge, service practices, loss prevention, store policy, and programs, and other associate responsibilities.
  2. Performance Management: Supports the Store Manager through execution of all performance management tools, including annual performance reviews, to set expectations, coach, and contribute to an environment that encourages engagement, retention, and talent. Manages minor employee relation issues and delivers formal performance feedback in partnership with store management.
  3. Talent Acquisition: Recruits and interviews for positions underneath hierarchy and provides recommendations for new hires.
OWN THE RESULT
  1. Operational Excellence: Understands and complies with all Levi's Stores policy, procedure, and programs.
  2. Store Procedures: Accountable for managing and holding others accountable for operational results in store procedures, payroll management, cash handling, and inventory control.
  3. Merchandising and Visual Standards: Leads merchandising teams to execute store visual standards in accordance with visual merchandising direction, resulting in timely and flawless product presentation and housekeeping standards.
  4. Store Opening and Closing Procedures: Performs and supervises store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing facilities.
LEAD BY EXAMPLE
  1. Adoption of New Technology: Adopts and advocates for new technology, policies, or programs rolled out in stores.
  2. Effective Communication: Effectively communicates with the management team to align and drive business strategy, creating an environment that encourages engagement.
  3. Leadership: Supervises store teams in the absence of another member of management.
CONSUMER AT THE CORE
  1. Consumer Experience: Creates a high-energy, compelling store experience by engaging consumers and modeling appropriate service behaviors to other associates, supervising and providing consistent coaching on sales training processes to ensure the highest level of service and sales.
  2. Consumer Resolution: Proactively resolves consumer concerns in a manner consistent with company policy and with consumer satisfaction in mind. Partners with store management on elevated consumer issues.
MOVE FAST
  1. Facility Maintenance: Maintains interior and exterior upkeep of buildings in partnership with the corporate office, communicating needs to ensure aesthetic and safety requirements are met.

About You:
