Job Overview

The Area Education Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the academic leadership and management of schools, as well as the cohort of principals. This position requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall Area Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to schools and principals, driving improvement in student success rates and overall school performance.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with community members, encourage collaboration between schools, and ensure effective communication with parents and stakeholders.
  • Principal Cohort Development: Work with the RHR Manager to strengthen the Principal cohort, improving quality and supporting continuous improvement through appraisals and PIPs.
  • Teacher Quality Enhancement: Enhance Teacher quality by strengthening the Teacher cohort, focusing on content and pedagogy, and collaborating with Principals to recruit quality local Teachers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong command of English and Urdu
  • Proficiency in computer use (MS Office, Internet, etc.)
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Analytical skills
