Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our network. This role involves ensuring smooth workflows, timely task completion, and high performance standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong leadership presence, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities. They will be responsible for supervising and motivating the network team, addressing operational issues, and maintaining quality standards in all processes and outputs.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in overseeing daily network operations to maintain smooth workflow and task completion.

  • Supervise, motivate, and develop the team to ensure high productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Address operational issues and customer concerns promptly with effective solutions.

  • Prepare operational metrics reports and provide actionable insights for performance improvements.

  • Monitor and maintain quality standards in all team processes and outputs.

  • Assist in onboarding new employees and supporting continuous staff development.

  • Ensure adherence to company standards and industry best practices.

  • Serve as a liaison between network staff and senior management to facilitate clear communication and alignment.

  • Coordinate with Internet Service Providers for branch support and network issue resolution.

  • Assist in managing inventory and resources to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Support planning, execution, and monitoring of network projects to meet deadlines and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network operations or security, with at least some leadership or supervisory responsibility.

  • Hands-on experience with FortiGate, Cisco FTD, Sophos Firewall, FortiManager, and data center networking.

  • Knowledge of site-to-site IPsec VPN troubleshooting and UTM features.

  • Experience with SD-WAN implementations and architecture.

  • Understanding of private cloud concepts.

  • Experience coordinating with ISPs for branch network support.

  • Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Security, or related field.

  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
