As a skilled Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering dynamic data visualizations using Power BI. Adept at working with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), create reports, and deploy analytics solutions that drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations, ensuring efficient data models and dimensional modeling concepts.

  • Implement Smart Narratives and natural language Q&A visuals to enhance data storytelling and usability for business users.

  • Develop paginated reports and dashboards using Power BI, leveraging its capabilities to deliver actionable insights.

  • Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and generate recommendations to stakeholders, driving business growth and improvement.

  • Build and maintain data pipelines using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF), ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the organization.

  • Optimize performance and enhance user experience in Power BI reports, utilizing incremental refresh and performance tuning techniques.

  • Implement row-level and column-level security in reports, ensuring data access control and compliance with organizational policies.

  • Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to effectively utilize Power BI solutions and unlock their full potential.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in Power BI development and ETL pipelines, with a strong focus on data analysis and visualization.

  • Proficiency in SQL, with ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance for improved data retrieval.

  • Experience with DAX and M language for complex calculations and custom transformations, driving data-driven insights.

  • Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL processes, including data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.

  • Knowledge of deploying and integrating OLAP cubes using SSAS, ensuring seamless data aggregation and analysis.

  • Experience with Azure services (ADF, Synapse), including cloud-based data processing and storage solutions.

  • Understanding of incremental refresh, performance tuning, and Power BI Service capabilities, driving scalability and efficiency.
