Financial Services Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our financial services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting various financial tasks and contributing to the success of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Owning bank postings and reconciliations, management of intercompany recharges, and reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
  • Month end processing of central costs including fixed assets.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Ensure cash is allocated daily per bank statements and ensure all bank accounts are reconciled on the WD1 for month end.
  • Posting of intercompany recharge invoices.
  • Reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
  • Management of period end central accruals including supporting schedules for the month end process including blackline reconciliation.
  • Management of period end central prepayments including supporting schedules for the month end process including blackline reconciliation.
  • Maintenance of the fixed asset register including depreciation and amortisation in accounting software.
  • Support the team with dealing with and resolving supplier and customer queries through to resolution.
  • Support the team with recurring customer billing, invoicing, credit notes and supplier invoices where required.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of the A/R recurring and one-off DD collection file on a monthly basis, to be sent to manager for next stage processing.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements for purchase and supplier information.
Requirements:
  • Part qualified or finalist professional accounting qualification or 4 years' degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience of working within a busy finance environment.
  • Strong Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience of accounting packages.
  • A proactive approach and good communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail with an ability to prioritise work and be flexible.
