Linux Server Administrator Position

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux server administration, containerization, automation, and modern deployment practices.
  • A strong understanding of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and proficiency in PostgreSQL database administration is required.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and maintain Linux server environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
  2. Support developers with server setup, configuration, and deployment processes
  3. Deploy and maintain applications as Docker containers using orchestration tools
  4. Configure and manage reverse proxies, DNS services, and network security
  5. Administer PostgreSQL databases including performance tuning and backup strategies
  6. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  7. Monitor server performance and security using tools like Netdata and custom solutions
  8. Manage containerized applications through Portainer.io and Coolify.io platforms
  9. Configure NGINX Proxy Manager for load balancing and SSL termination
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5+ Years of practical Linux system administration experience
  • Extensive experience with Docker containerization and container orchestration
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and configurations
  • Proficient in Bash and Python scripting languages
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL database administration and performance optimization
  • Experience with automated deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
