Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Specialist to oversee the operation and maintenance of our data acquisition systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and make a real impact on the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering, with a minimum of 09 years of experience in remote monitoring and data acquisition in the oil and gas sector. They will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment installed at industrial gas meter stations and town border stations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Ensure safe operation of natural gas measuring equipment, adhering to all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Data Acquisition Expertise: Supervise the effective operation and maintenance of data acquisition systems for customer meter stations within designated franchise areas.
  • Remote Monitoring: Monitor and ensure proper functionality of remote monitoring equipment installed across customer meter stations and town border stations in franchise areas.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Report exceptions through the remote monitoring system, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Procurement Management: Oversee procurement of necessary spares and equipment related to remote monitoring, adhering to technical specifications and requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Drive proactive planning and scheduling processes to optimize manpower, ensuring timely completion of remote monitoring equipment maintenance activities.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility, fostering individual growth for every team member.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis, document problems, and coordinate with relevant departments for swift resolution.
  • Field Operations: Coordinate and manage field activities related to installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of data acquisition equipment across the franchise network.
  • Precision and Accuracy: Manage precise gas management, accurate measurement, and pressure adherence according to demand-supply analysis.
  • Budget Management: Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for operations, maintenance, revenue, and capital expenditure for the department.
  • Tech Evaluation: Manage technical evaluation of bids through the procurement department.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Plan emergency and contingency procedures for attending to and addressing emergency complaints promptly on a 24/7 basis.
  • Safety Culture: Uphold a safe, reliable, and efficient operation of data acquisition equipment.
