Electrical and Mechanical Engineer Role

A highly skilled professional with 7-8 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering is required to take on this challenging role.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and revising maintenance schedules after thorough analysis of workshop processes, obtaining approval from the strategic operations head.

This involves planning and ensuring the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance activities for electrical and mechanical systems, following the approval of the head of strategic operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing equipment operations on the floor, conducting daily meetings with the maintenance engineer to discuss progress reports and provide directions on mechanical activities.

Ensuring quality repairs of electrical equipment on the floor is a key responsibility, as well as implementing the use of tools to plan all preventive maintenance activities for structured management.

Closely collaborating with the in-charge of dyes and mold shop to develop and maintain mold development and maintenance schedules is essential, ensuring these are followed regularly.

Maintaining up-to-date reports to meet routine and emergency requirements is crucial, as is reviewing all documents received from designers/consultants/service engineers and generating a detailed modification plan for approval by the head of strategic operations for execution.

A high level of personal safety awareness is required, including proper use of personal protective equipment by staff to avoid injuries.

Strong team coordination skills are necessary to prevent delays, confusion, and internal organizational politics.

Quarterly meetings will be conducted to set, review, and revise performance standards and KRAs of direct reportees, as well as conduct performance monitoring sessions as required.
