• System Design: Architect and design scalable, modular backend systems, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
• Component Development: Define and implement system-level components such as APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful and WebSocket APIs for seamless frontend-backend communication.
• Data Processing: Implement robust data processing, validation, and business logic layers.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using services like AWS or Azure and ensure cloud architecture aligns with industry standards.
• Deployment Pipelines: Implement efficient deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
• Service Reliability: Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of services.
• Database Management: Design and manage relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Database Optimization: Optimize database queries and manage data modeling for large-scale applications.
• Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices, including data encryption, secure API communication, and role-based access control.
• Performance Monitoring: Set up and monitor performance metrics for backend services.
• Real-Time Communication: Develop real-time communication features using WebSocket, MQTT, or similar protocols.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior developers to improve code quality and productivity.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in backend development.
• Skills: Proficiency in Node.js and its frameworks.
• API Design: Strong understanding of API design principles, including RESTful and WebSocket APIs.
• Database Expertise: Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Cloud Management: Expertise in managing cloud services like EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
• Cryptography: Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWTs, and encryption protocols (e.g., TLS, AES).
• Real-Time Data Handling: Experience with real-time data handling protocols like WebSocket or MQTT.
• Testing Tools: Proficiency with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.
• Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git and workflows like GitFlow or trunk-based development.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, AWS Pipeline, or GitLab CI.
