Backend Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer with expertise in Java, GraphQL, and AWS to design and develop scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java-based microservices, GraphQL API design, and AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities
  1. Support and coordinate technical and business aspects of software development activities, including requirement analysis, design, and implementation of applications.
  2. Serve as a principal developer in project teams, providing expert guidance on business and technical matters.
  3. Take on additional responsibilities as needed, fostering team cohesion and collaboration.
  4. Act as a point of contact for technical issues across multiple projects and work streams.
  5. Proactively plan and strategize with the team, identifying potential issues and suggesting workable alternatives.
  6. Mentor technical staff, assist where needed, and lead efforts in resolving technical challenges.
  7. Guide and participate in recruiting top technical talent for the team.

Requirements
  1. 5-7+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on backend systems.
  2. Proficiency in GraphQL API design and implementation.
  3. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudFormation.
  4. Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
  5. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  6. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  7. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
