Senior AI Platform Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior AI Platform Engineer to design and implement high-performance backend systems and AI infrastructure. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building production-grade systems and working with modern cloud-native technologies.

  • Design, develop, and maintain low-latency backend services for AI applications.
  • Build and deploy scalable cloud-native systems using AWS services.
  • Work closely with AI researchers, data engineers, and product teams to integrate backend systems with AI workflows.
  • Ensure code quality, service reliability, and infrastructure observability.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of professional experience in backend or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong coding skills in Python or Java.
  • Proven experience building high-performance online services (sub-millisecond latency preferred; AI-related workloads a plus).
  • Solid understanding of Knowledge Graph technologies, including:
    • Graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune)
    • Metadata ontologies
    • Graph-based Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Practical experience with cloud-native services, including:
    • AWS Lambda, S3, ECS, Batch
  • Track record of owning services through development, deployment, and monitoring.
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)

Exposure to cloud-agnostic orchestration using Kubernetes.
