Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled AWS consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing secure, automated infrastructure operations.
  • They should be able to collaborate closely with application and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions using AWS.
  2. Act as a subject matter expert on product and processes specific to cloud platforms, focusing primarily on AWS.
  3. Ensure compliance with architectural, security, and FinOps guidelines.
  4. Work closely with business stakeholders to create and operate infrastructure according to their requirements.
  5. Present and participate in architecture board discussions as a subject matter expert when needed.
  6. Deliver projects according to time, cost, and quality expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/Engineering/Computer Science, with certifications like AWS SysOps Certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in required technologies, including IaaS and PaaS cloud environments.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience of multi-account cloud setups, primarily AWS, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of cloud-native tools like Infrastructure as Code (Preferred Terraform but also Cloud Formation).
  • Experience with FinOps and strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
