Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient splicing of fiber optic cables in various environments. This involves creating and maintaining schematics as well as supporting project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Splice fiber optic cables both indoors and outdoors.
  • Create, read, and maintain splicing diagrams and schematics.
  • Maintain control over outside plant activities surrounding assigned work sites.
  • Take and maintain accurate splicing and field notes.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or Intermediate level certification.
  • Experience with 24, 48, 96, and 144 FOC splicing and termination.
  • Knowledge of Optical Fiber Transmission Systems and Cable Splicing.
  • Proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-Visio.
