Job Opportunity: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to play a key role in supporting our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), cloud infrastructure, and automation efforts.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git, scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, and basic knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization tools.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. This requires collaboration with developers and QA engineers to ensure smooth code integration and deployment.

Key responsibilities include deployment automation and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring version control workflows with Git, writing and maintaining scripts to automate operational tasks.

Containerization and orchestration efforts with Docker and Kubernetes will also be a key focus area. Furthermore, we expect you to help maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments and participate in incident response, system troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch is another essential aspect of this role. Documenting infrastructure, procedures, and policies to support scalability and knowledge sharing is also a crucial part of the job.

Requirements:
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
  • Understanding of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based systems and basic networking concepts
  • Knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools quickly and independently
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (BSCS)
  • 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, or related technical roles
