Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the quality of our healthcare services. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and implementing quality management systems to enhance patient care.

  • Policies and Procedures: Review, revise, and improve hospital policies and procedures to optimize workflows and ensure continuous monitoring for quality improvement.
  • Quality Manual and System Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Manual (QM) and Quality System Procedures (QSP) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Joint Commission Accreditation: Compile Joint Commission Accreditation (JCI) policy and procedures under the supervision of the Director/Principal. Coordinate the development of departmental Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions/Protocols/Manuals/Plans/Policies aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Quality Objectives and Performance Indicators: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish quality objectives and performance indicators as per ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date Quality Management System documentation and records.
  • Training and Development: Participate in planning, coordinating, and presenting training programs and educational workshops assigned by the Principal/Director.
  • Quality Implementation Guidance: Provide guidance on quality implementation to hospitals under the IRHIS domain through the Director/Principal.
  • Audit Planning and Execution: Design, schedule, and conduct quality review audits as necessary for healthcare facilities and services.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis of incidents, non-compliances, and audit observations under the supervision of the Assistant Director/Senior Manager.
  • Quality Assignments: Ensure timely completion of quality assignments to maintain the integrity of quality management systems.
  • Maintenance of Records: Ensure that all records are kept in accordance with Institute policy for records retention, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

  • Computer Skills: Good command of computer/MS Office applications.
  • Adaptability: Able to cope with stress and handle multiple assignments.
  • Time Management: Capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Quality Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of Quality Management/ISO/JCI accreditation processes.
