Solar Installation Professional Opportunity

A reputable organization seeks an experienced Solar Installation Professional to join their team in Lahore, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation of photovoltaic systems ensuring they are designed and implemented to meet engineering specifications and electrical safety standards.
  • Review blueprints, design documents, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Carry out site surveys, coordinate with the design team as required, and verify system configurations.
  • Ensure proper orientation, area, solar access, or structural integrity for photovoltaic arrays.
  • Provide recommendations for installation locations, materials, and equipment as per site specifications.
  • Assist in the selection of connection interfaces for additional subpanels or connecting photovoltaic systems with utility services.
  • Determine materials, equipment, and installation sequences necessary to maximize installation efficiency.
  • Identify electrical, environmental, and safety hazards associated with photovoltaic installations.
  • Assemble solar panels on mounting structures as detailed in the drawings.
  • Install photovoltaic systems in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and instructions.
  • Apply weather sealing to array, building, or support mechanisms, and install module array interconnect wiring.
  • Check electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or integrity of terminations.
  • Test operating voltages to ensure operation within acceptable limits for power conditioning equipment.
  • Activate photovoltaic systems to verify system functionality and conformity to performance expectations.
  • Test installed systems after commissioning to verify performance up to required level.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of PV module installation experience.
  • Comprehensive experience in reading and implementing engineering plans (electrical, civil, mechanical).
