Job Description

As a seasoned HR professional, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the organization's human resources strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and administer core HR functions, ensuring that our team is equipped to drive business success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategies to support current and future business needs through effective management of human capital.
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle, including strategic recruitment, staff engagement, succession planning, and retention strategies.
  • Creating and implementing HR strategies, policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with our overall business objectives.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the candidate acquisition process, pre-qualification, and skills evaluation program.
  • Administering new employee onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Monitoring training programs and conducting training need assessments.
  • Resolving conflicts and grievances through mediation and dispute resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 5+ years of post-university qualification experience in progressively responsible human resource roles.
  • 3+ years of post-university qualification experience in a relevant human resource supervisory role.
  • A proven track record of improving processes and organizations.
  • Experience in educating and coaching staff, conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or organizational development; master's preferred.
Certifications

The successful candidate should hold certifications in:

  • Human resources management.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment law.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
