Regulatory Compliance Expert

This is a senior role that requires expertise in managing and owning screening systems/initiatives such as Fircosoft for customer screening and payment screening.

  1. Evaluate system control and compliance issues, assess and document related risk, and provide recommendations for resolution.

Problem Solving:

Create a root cause analysis (RCA) document for defects/incidents and develop a permanent fix/solution.

Decision Making Authority & Responsibility:

  1. Oversee the management of key compliance systems/initiatives across multiple locations.
  2. Prioritize and manage system enhancements/upgrades.
  3. Automate functionalities based on possibilities.

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrate expertise in Fircosoft screening solutions.
  2. Understand Continuity, Trust, and FSK – Screen & Keep principles.
  3. Prior experience with De-rap, ERF, Pairing, Stripping detector is advantageous.
  4. Familiarity with Global standards in AML, KYC, FATF, Sanctions is desirable.
  5. Strong background in Unix/Linux Shell Script programming.
  6. Expertise in exploring tools to connect with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  7. Knowledge of Windows batch scripting for automating file generation and movement.
  8. Proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL with SQL and PLSQL skills.
  9. Experience with Perl scripting.
  10. Able to customize reports based on compliance/business requirements.
  11. Proven system integration experience.
  12. Banking domain knowledge is essential.
  13. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  14. Self-motivated, decisive, and adaptable to change and competing demands.
  15. Awareness of regulations governing banking business processes is crucial.
  16. Ability to work with various database formats and file formats, conduct data analysis and analytics.
  17. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  18. Desirable skills in Dot Net Sharepoint, Power BI.
  19. Working knowledge of software development methods and techniques, and adaptability to Agile model.
  20. Good understanding of UNIX OS, programming languages, and development tools.
  21. Strong technical knowledge in the required application area.
  22. Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university (preferably computer science or similar).
  23. Financial Crime qualifications are an added advantage.
  24. At least 3-8 years of experience in the financial services or IT sector.
  25. Familiarity with Compliance and Financial Crime related systems.
  26. Prior experience and exposure to Fircosoft screening solutions.
