Job Overview

A Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing server applications of various software platforms, including writing Restful APIs to be consumed by client applications.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  • Write code and unit tests, collaborating with other team members.
  • Tune your code for enhanced security and performance, maintaining systems by fixing any existing issues.
  • Update issue tracking software and provide status updates.
  • Communicate with clients and control versions of your code.
  • Research new technologies and lead a team of software engineers.
  • Mentor team members through training and guidance, upgrading skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in professional industry.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Javascript technologies.
  • Knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJS, NestJS, backend components, and Restful APIs.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliances.
  • Experience with relational and schemaless databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Writing unit tests and ensuring 90% test coverage.
  • Collaboration tools like Github and JIRA.
  • Fundamental concepts and design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
  • Presentation skills and influence among team members.
