Senior Financial Analyst - Advisory

About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst - Advisory will work as a core member of the advisory team, handling local and global corporate finance mandates. These tasks include feasibility studies, business valuations, business plans, transaction advisory, strategy advisory, deal advisory, financial due diligence, transformation advisory, and highest & best use studies.

This individual will be responsible for managing projects on an end-to-end basis, including detailed research, report preparation, comprehensive financial modeling, project delivery, and client interaction. Additionally, they will train, mentor, and guide junior analysts and trainees in their areas of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to source information from public sources, industry databases, and paid-research databases.
  • Perform market analysis, identify demand and supply gaps, and opportunities for growth.
  • Create business plans, financial feasibilities, financial due diligence, information memorandums, and other required documents.
  • Develop financial models to forecast financial statements and market trends.
  • Provide business valuations, recommendations on project financing, and other financial analyses as needed.
  • Analyze data using traditional and advanced methods and present actionable recommendations in reports.
  • Make presentations, answer questions, and instill confidence in clients.
  • Making strategic recommendations such as market entry strategies, product pricing mix, market sizing, etc.
  • Train, mentor, and guide junior analysts and trainees in areas of expertise.
About You

You should have at least a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, or related fields from a reputable institution or an ACCA. Candidates actively pursuing the CFA charter will be preferred.

  • Proven experience in managing corporate finance/advisory mandates on an end-to-end basis.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills encompassing finance and investment.
  • Hands-on experience with financial modeling (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas).
  • Proficient in MS Office and strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral).
  • Confidence, hard work, results orientation, and good teamwork are essential qualities.
Requirements

At least 3-5 years of experience in advisory/corporate finance is required for this position.
