About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Business Development team in driving growth and expansion. As a key member of the team, you will conduct thorough research to identify potential clients, qualify leads, and contribute to our overall business strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex topics across climate, sustainability, and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on target industries, companies, and decision-makers to identify potential leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on leads in our CRM system.
  • Assist in qualifying leads based on predefined criteria.
  • Send initial outreach emails or make introductory calls to potential leads.
  • Support our Head of Growth and Partnerships in other aspects of business development as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in deal sourcing or business development, preferably in an investment environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and prospecting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
