Land Acquisition Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating land acquisition activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordination of land acquisition activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with government agencies and stakeholders to obtain necessary documents and approvals.
  • Determine accurate damages to owners' properties within the Right of Way and determine the cost of land.
  • Negotiate compensation amounts with land owners and make arrangements for payment through authorized authorities.
  • Issue notifications in respect of the land to be acquired.
  • Supervise land acquisition and clearance process for transmission and distribution projects while adhering to timelines.
  • Ensure timely completion of legal formalities / permissions to prevent delays.
  • Manage real estate related documentation and processing requirements of relevant government departments and authorities.
  • Verify issuance of related notifications to the land department and Commissioner of the particular area for the land to be acquired.
  • Resolve land related problems during construction activities.
  • Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership and develop risk response strategies.
  • Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • LAW GRADUATE WITH AT LEAST 8 YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND 03 YEARS BAR ENROLLMENT.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of land acquisition laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications.
