Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team.

This individual will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems for our clients.

The successful candidate will work on diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the success of automation solutions in various industries.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop E&I related engineering deliverables as per project specification and client requirements.
  • Identify scope of work and list of engineering documents deliverables, communicating with other departments for required inputs.
  • Attend regular project progress meetings with internal stakeholders.
  • Meet committed expectations in client progress review meetings.
  • Prepare RFQs for all electrical and instrumentation related items.
  • Review sub-vendor offers and provide technical recommendations to the procurement department.
  • Raise purchase order requests (IR) for E&I items in the portal.
  • Identify risks or opportunities related to E&I and inform the Project Manager in a timely manner.
  • Handle electrical equipment such as motors, local control stations, motor starters, etc.
  • Handle instruments such as pressure/level/flow transmitters and gauges as well as control valves.
  • Prepare all E&I related documents but not limited to single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, load lists, cause & effect, cable schedules, etc.
  • Review P&ID for E&I related scopes to ensure proper alignment.
  • Provide E&I related support to internal testing engineers to ensure FAT completion successfully.
  • Support QC teams towards closure of punch points and obtaining IRNs for on-time delivery.
  • Be ready to travel to sites for commissioning activities related to E&I works.
  • Ensure that work is carried out professionally and in compliance with applicable contracts, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify E&I areas of concern with assigned projects and recommend corrective actions wherever required.
  • Perform all E&I related tasks required in the initiation, execution, and closure of the project.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE/BSc) in E&I from a reputable university with a good academic record.
Experience Requirement: 7 to 10 Years.

Preferred Experience:
  • Working experience in Wellhead control panels, chemical dosing packages, metering skids, water treatment packages, Oil & Gas skid packages would be beneficial.
  • Exposure to Saudi Aramco/ADNOC/PDO/Shell/QE Energy company specifications would be considered an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in handling electrical equipment such as motors, local control stations, motor starters, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in handling instruments such as pressure/level/flow transmitters and gauges as well as control valves.
  • Experience in preparing single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, load lists, cause & effect, cable schedules, etc.
  • Mandatory experience with explosion-proof equipment, ATEX/IECEx certifications, and Ingress protection certifications.
  • Good hands-on expertise in design.
  • Coordination with cross-functional departments to ensure committed deliverables are submitted on time.
  • Basic exposure to reading P&ID and skid GA drawings and fabrication drawings.
  • Familiarity with all kinds of electrical and instrumentation symbols as per international standards.
