The manufacturing industry is constantly evolving, driven by the need for innovative solutions that deliver tangible value and enhance operations. As a Design & Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of industrial automation.

About the Role:

  • You will design, configure, integrate, and implement process control solutions for various industries, leveraging your technical expertise to drive efficiency and improve asset performance.
  • You will develop comprehensive P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and loop descriptions for diverse plants, processes, and/or equipment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.
  • You will create clear and concise User Requirement Specifications, detailing software and hardware design specifications to ensure system integrity and performance.
  • You will design, write, implement, test, and document robust PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), DCS (Distributed Control System), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) software, driving automation excellence.
  • You will develop stringent control system validation/testing protocols to ensure system integrity and performance, guaranteeing smooth system execution.
  • You will specify and procure essential process instrumentation, PLCs, DCSs, drives, and other electrical components and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and effective implementation.
  • You will develop precise electrical and control panel schematics, outlining project requirements and specifications.
  • You will create comprehensive scope of supply documents, detailing essential materials and equipment required for project completion.
  • You will manage and monitor project progress, ensuring timely and effective execution, seamless integration, and optimal system performance.
  • You will install, test, and commission control systems onsite, guaranteeing seamless integration and optimal functionality.
  • You will provide thorough training to operators and engineers on new control systems, empowering them to effectively manage and troubleshoot complex systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: At least 1-4 years of practical experience within the industrial automation industry, with a strong background in project phase expertise.
  • Project Phase Expertise: Knowledge of process manufacturing, field instrumentation, control system installation, and implementation expertise in the following project phases: requirement documentation, detailed design generation, implementation, system integration, testing, onsite startup.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities in English.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to cultivate strong and lasting relationships with customers and partners, fostering collaboration and driving success.
