Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our production planning department, you will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules, reviewing production plans, and ensuring efficient allocation of manpower and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create project schedules and review production schedules for each manufacturing department.
  • Develop and maintain a program plan in the ERP system, ensuring it meets established deadlines and milestones.
  • Review contract labour requirements and organize outside resources as needed.
  • Standardize build practices to eliminate waste and develop process improvements.
  • Monitor production on a daily basis.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field, along with 5+ years of experience in operations management in a manufacturing industry. You should also be proficient in using scheduling and resource planning software, as well as ERP systems.

A strong action-oriented proactive thinker and problem solver, you will be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes.
