Job Summary: As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team by performing various accounting and financial tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with the overall financial management of the company.

">Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Record financial transactions accurately, ensuring all entries are complete and error-free.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure our financial records match the bank statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Process bills and invoices, and maintain a record of outstanding customer invoices and vendor bills.
  • Enter general journal entries as needed to capture any financial transactions that do not fit into the standard categories.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer statements to ensure our records align with external statements, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Record month-end accruals accurately to reflect outstanding expenses or revenues for the period, ensuring our financial statements are up-to-date.
  • Assist in recording and processing payroll transactions
  • Prepare and maintain prepaid expense schedules to accurately reflect the prepaid expenses on the balance sheet.
  • Maintain an up-to-date fixed assets register, tracking the value and depreciation of tangible assets.
  • Reconcile inventory records with physical counts and make necessary adjustments to maintain accurate inventory valuations.
  • Generate 1099 data for review.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Transaction Recording, Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payable and Receivable, General Journal Entries, Vendor and Customer Statement Reconciliation, Month-End Accruals, Payroll Processing, Prepaid Expense Schedules, Fixed Assets Register, Inventory Reconciliation, and 1099 Reporting.

">Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting preferably with US clients.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other similar accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
