Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to maintain financial records, analyse financial data, and prepare financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using various software such as Xero, QuickBooks, VT, Sage 50, and Excel.
  • Analyse complex financial data using different analysis tools and techniques to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements with disclosures required by FRS-105 and FRS-102.
  • Compute Corporation Tax according to UK tax legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Draft professional letters and documents for correspondence with stakeholders.
  • Submit financial statements and corporation tax returns to relevant authorities in a timely manner.
  • Prepare VAT returns according to UK VAT legislation and individual's personal income tax returns according to UK tax legislation.
  • Update monthly payroll using Sage 50 payroll software.
Requirements:
  • ACCA Affiliate/Finalist qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience in a UK-based firm is preferred.
  • Expertise in Xero, Sage 50, QuickBooks, and Excel is desirable.
  • A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a reputable organization in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills are essential.
  • Understanding of accounting and financial processes.
  • Ethical and professional behaviour is expected.
