Job Description

Public Health Systems Training Advisor: A Key Role in Strengthening Healthcare Systems

The Public Health Systems Training Advisor is a pivotal position that plays a critical role in the implementation of competency-based training within the Health and Population Department (H&PD). This advisor will work closely with various stakeholders to develop, institutionalize, and sustain training standards, ensuring alignment with the Essential Package of Health Services (EPHS) and National Health Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement competency-based training content aligned with EPHS requirements.
  • Institutionalize training standards through Learning Management System (LMS) integration and optimization.
  • Build government ownership for ongoing management and updating of training content.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Policy, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in workforce training and competency-based curricula development.
  • Experience working with EPHS/NHSP frameworks preferred.
