Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Create scalable APIs that handle audio input and output, and integrate with TTS and ASR systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the 3D modeling and speech processing teams to ensure seamless interaction between backend services and avatars.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize API performance for real-time interaction, ensuring low latency and high reliability.
  • Security: Implement secure authentication and data encryption for sensitive customer interactions.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of the API and assist in its integration into the larger platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Backend Development Experience: Proven experience in backend development using languages such as Python, Node.js, or Go.
  • API Design and Development: Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development, including experience with audio data handling.
  • Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for API hosting and scaling.
  • Third-Party API Integration: Experience with integrating third-party APIs, especially in speech processing and animation.
  • Security Best Practices: Strong understanding of security best practices for API development.
