Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Financial Operations Specialist to contribute to our financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of financial processes.

About the Role

  • Develop and maintain precise financial reports, ledgers, and reconciliations in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, providing insights for informed decision-making
  • Monitor project-wise cost allocations, revenue recognition, and cash flows, identifying areas for optimization
  • Coordinate with internal departments for timely invoicing and collections, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Prepare documentation for audits, bank dealings, and compliance matters, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Ensure accurate data entry in ERP systems and maintain up-to-date financial records
  • Support vendor payments, tax calculations, and withholding tax filings, complying with local regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of management information system (MIS) reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights for business growth
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as needed, representing the organization with professionalism and expertise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in an engineering or project-based organization, with a strong understanding of financial processes and taxation
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset, with excellent communication and coordination abilities
