Accountant Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Financial Reporting & Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be CA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years of experience, including public accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform monthly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and reports for various business units
  2. Prepare analyses for quarterly reviews, year-end audits, and annual reports
  3. Prepare monthly reports for senior management and business partners
  4. Present financial results to senior management
  5. Coordinate the preparation of financials for statutory audits
  6. Review and improve existing processes
  7. Communicate with various groups within and outside the department regarding questions, training, etc.
  8. Handle ad hoc assignments and projects as requested
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of hands-on, related accounting experience
  • CA or ACCA qualified, with public accounting experience preferred
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply accounting guidance to various transactions
  • Process-oriented with a passion for developing best practices
  • Strong skills in Excel, analytics, organization, time management, interpersonal communication
  • Self-motivated, proactive, able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
