Business Development Specialist

This position is responsible for generating business through multiple channels and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field from a reputable university.
Required experience includes:
- A minimum of 2 years in a business development role for Assistant Manager positions.
- A minimum of 5 years in a business development role for Manager positions.
A maximum age of 40 is required as of the last date of application submission. Two vacancies are available for this position.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the mortgage industry through lead generation and market research.
- Developing and implementing a business development strategy to achieve company objectives.
- BUILDING and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as real estate agents, builders, financial institutions, and other referral sources.
- Collaborating with the credit underwriting and processing teams to ensure a smooth and efficient loan origination process.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to provide informed recommendations.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated and target-driven, and have advanced knowledge of sales techniques prevalent in the financial industry.
In addition, prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills are essential, along with relationship management skills and a willingness to expand business with new accounts/clients.
