Key Laboratory Manager Position

The Key Laboratory Manager is responsible for the proper implementation and regular update of the laboratory management system in accordance with ISO 17025:2017 standards.

  • Lead a diverse group to achieve agreed objectives (safety, environment, quality, cost, and service).
  • Develop and maintain competences and quality awareness, and commitment to zero defect at plant.
  • Setup, manage, enforce, and maintain the Nestlé Quality Management System at plant level.
  • Ensure correct functioning and technical operations of the laboratory, including personnel safety, availability of equipment, and training of technicians.
  • Oversee compliance in laboratory safety and security standards set forth by accrediting and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure adherence to good hygienic practices at plant and ensure correct implementation and supervision of the plant pest management program.
  • Manage internal auditing program, assessing performance of quality system, reporting effectiveness to management, and proposing actions for improvement.
  • Ensure monitoring of key quality parameters by means of statistical process control in order to drive structured root cause analysis and continuous improvement in quest for zero defect.
  • Maintain full compliance of products.
  • Promote quality awareness at plant. Assist in quality training for plant personnel and contractors.
