Key Driver for Channel Strategy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the role of driving channel strategy through planning and management. This involves analyzing the implementation of strategy initiatives, managing key variables of sales & commissioning, and identifying areas for operational efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in roles with Channel/product Planning, preferably in a channel planning role in telecom or FMCG sector. They should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Telco products and sales, as well as analytical skills and ability to effectively design analytical models for forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of S&D planning for new network investment areas
  • Formulating and coordinating opportunity areas for new network investment and their business cases with regions/circles and pricing
  • Identification and evaluation of cross-functional projects that lead to better strategy delivery
  • Performance tracking for new investment areas and highlighting improvement areas
  • Providing regular management updates and providing visibility on upcoming projects and deliveries
  • In-depth analysis of current performance on different channels with respect to GSM/FS and benchmarking strategic project deliveries
  • Identifying new areas for improvement and operational efficiency under product domain
  • Identifying FS GSM business synergies and formulating projects to improve efficiency

About the Role:

This role is based in a hybrid environment and involves close coordination with various teams, including FS & GSM product planning, distribution, and operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal functions to prepare monthly closing forecasts and raise early red flags.

Requirements:

  • Masters/bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields
  • Extensive experience in roles with Channel/product Planning, preferably in a channel planning role in telecom or FMCG sector
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiatives and ensure thorough execution of plans through internal & external stakeholders
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of Telco products and sales
  • Analytical skills and ability to effectively design analytical models for forecasting
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Database tools, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of MFS business in Pakistan/Asian markets
