Financial Operations Manager

This role is responsible for supporting management in supervising and guiding the team to maintain records and incorporate expenditures on an enterprise resource planning system.
- Review maintenance of customer advances schedules related to natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas domestic, commercial, industrial, mains & impl projects.
- Manage accounting standards and process of customer advances for natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas domestic, commercial, industrial, mains & impl projects.
- Ensure installation cost recovered in customer collection and billing is recorded in the enterprise resource planning system and subsequent issuance of debit notes / credit notes for recovery / refund are recorded as per company rules.
- Evaluate amortization of deferred credit.
- Income from new service connections and maintenance of deferred credit schedules on a timely basis.
- Review and analyze customer advances aging reports including domestic, commercial, industrial, impl customers of natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas customers.
- Support senior management in finalization of domestic and industrial end-user refundable and non-refundable paid mains projects.
- Ensure timely processing of pre-commissioning refunds to customers advances related to domestic, commercial, industrial customers in customer collection and billing and payable module.
- Ensure resolution of discrepancies/queries relating to material and labor hiring for domestic, industrial, commercial and impl house line, service connection and paid mains projects of natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas through coordination with relevant distribution departments.
- Facilitate in smooth execution of annual external audit of customer advances and deferred credit.
- Review job cards related to distribution projects and coordinate with sales department before issuance of job card as per approved budget and standard operating procedures.
- Evaluate, verify, and check costing of mileage rate applicable etc. pertaining to distribution schemes in all regions.
- Review compilation of actual and estimate budgets of respective projects appearing in work-in-progress and cross verification of data from manual management approvals.
- Capitalize projects in project module based on job card commissioned and received from distribution department.
- Prepare customer pre-commissioning refund cases (from accounts payable invoices delivering of cheque to customer).
- Resolve tenacity regarding project budget from all distribution departments.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the enterprise risk management framework enforced in the company while performing job responsibilities.
The incumbent will also ensure compliance with the business principles and ethics policy/code of conduct.
