Business Intelligence Analyst Role Summary
Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Analytics team, supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function.
This cross-functional role combines analytical and technical skills with strong business acumen, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A activities through modern data tools and automation techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the FP&A team to support KPI monitoring, forecasting, financial reporting, and pricing models.
- Translate business questions into analytical problems and deliver data-driven insights for financial decision-making.
- Build and maintain automated reports and data pipelines using SQL and/or Python.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve data quality through automation.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics stakeholders to ensure data integrity and system alignment.
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for strategic planning and performance analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
- +2 years of experience as a financial analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and passion for leveraging data to create business value.
