Software Engineer (iOS) - Job Description

We are seeking a skilled software engineer with expertise in iOS app development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Swift UIKit and experience with iOS frameworks like Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Graphics.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that meet the needs of our users. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the app's performance, scalability, quality, and responsiveness. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as identify and resolve application bottlenecks and bugs in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of apps built with Swift UIKit and a solid understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and design principles. A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required, along with at least 1+ years of hands-on iOS app development experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift UIKit.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure the app's performance, scalability, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve application bottlenecks and bugs in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
  • Programming Language: Proficiency in Swift programming language.
  • iOS Frameworks: Experience with iOS frameworks like Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Graphics.
  • Offline Storage: Strong knowledge of offline storage mechanisms.
  • Threading: Familiarity with threading concepts.
  • Performance Tuning: Solid understanding of performance tuning techniques.
Education and Experience:
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1+ years of hands-on iOS app development experience.
  • Portfolio: Demonstrable portfolio of apps built with Swift UIKit.
