As an experienced Software Engineering Manager, you will lead our Backend team in developing new features for Fleet Safety and AI Dashcam software. The successful candidate will have a strong technical vision, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for building new product features.
  • Lead engineering teams to achieve business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop a long-term product roadmap.
  • Facilitate technical design discussions across multiple teams.
  • Drive execution, launch, and daily operations of functionalities at high quality.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a diverse team of engineers.
  • Contribute to development tasks as needed to deepen understanding of codebase and business processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related domains.
  • 3+ years of engineering management experience.
  • Technical depth and breadth in agile product development, distributed systems, infrastructure, cloud computing, build tools, front-end engineering, mobile, QA.
  • Ability to perform architectural work and define requirements based on business issues.
  • Proven track record as a nimble and proactive thinker and doer.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, managing, motivating, and promoting skilled engineers.
  • A high degree of comfort with short release cycles and owning the full software lifecycle.
  • Passion for continuous experimentation and learning.
