We are seeking talented Manufacturing Engineers to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new production capabilities, improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Working in a highly regulated environment, you will collaborate with our design teams, technical experts and research centres to identify and develop innovative solutions. Your expertise will be essential in designing and implementing new production capabilities, transferring production capabilities and introducing new products into existing capabilities.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in the design of new production capabilities, transfer of production capabilities and introduction of new products into existing capabilities. Engineering design for manufacture and working within a supply chain partnership are also essential.

  • Experience in a wide range of manufacturing inspection and analytical techniques

  • Identifying, developing and implementing innovative ways of working, commensurate with a new product introduction (NPI)

  • Developing new cutting-edge production capabilities as part of complex infrastructure projects

  • Design to Manufacture experience of process, tooling or equipment including requirements capture and presenting at design reviews

  • Configuration management

  • Tools and software supporting digital manufacturing

  • Process and manufacturing documentation development to support safe systems of work

  • Driving and managing engineering change and transformation within a manufacturing environment

  • Supporting prototype build activities, new technologies and design implementation.

  • Knowledge and understanding of process control and problem investigation tools (PFMEAs, control plans, RCA, A3, 5 whys)

  • Application of Lean Manufacturing Techniques, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Continuous Improvement, Quality Tools, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Obsolescence Management and Model Based Engineering

Your excellent interpersonal and team building skills will enable you to build good working relationships within the organisation. Leadership skills, stakeholder engagement and strong communication skills are also essential.
