The role of General Manager – Organizational Planning and Management is a vital one within an organization, supporting the CEO in enhancing operational efficiency and promoting effective communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Development and Annual Planning: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing long-term strategies, monitoring progress against key milestones, and aligning these with the organization's overall objectives.
  • Operational Execution and Performance Management: This individual will oversee the daily operational execution of the CEO's priorities, identify and resolve bottlenecks in processes and workflows, and monitor progress on programs, projects, and key performance areas.
  • Stakeholder Management and Operational Rhythm: The General Manager will assist the CEO in managing key stakeholder relationships, maintaining organizational oversight through a dynamic operating rhythm, and providing input and oversight on the design and delivery of the organization-wide operating rhythm.
  • Internal and External Communications: As the central point of communication between the CEO, senior leadership, and the rest of the organization, this individual will manage the CEO's email and other communication, support external engagements, and enable the CEO to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Decision Support and Project Management: The General Manager will develop briefing documents to frame key decisions, provide necessary context, rationale, and data, lead or coordinate critical cross-functional projects, and develop and assist other units in developing briefing documents.
