Automation Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experts in industrial automation and controls.

The role involves designing, implementing, and testing control systems for various industries. As an automation specialist, you will work on projects that require technical expertise, innovation, and problem-solving skills.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing hardware components for specialized control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and Fire & Gas Systems (FGS).
  • Implementing and integrating control systems with various instrumentation devices, including Allen Bradley, Yokogawa, and Honeywell systems.
  • Analyzing customer specifications, including Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Cause & Effect Diagrams (C&Es), drawings, narratives, and philosophies.
  • Performing system testing and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for control systems.

You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of diverse industries.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Industrial Automation & Controls.
  • Proven experience in hardware design for specialized control systems, including DCS, SIS, and FGS.
  • Expertise in working with Allen Bradley, Yokogawa, and Honeywell systems.
  • Strong understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and discuss technical information.
