Community Development Specialist Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving community engagement for E-Voucher and fortified flour programs. This involves working closely with stakeholders to promote project interventions and ensure their effective implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct household visits to register/verify beneficiaries using CNIC checks, ensuring accurate data collection and maintenance of beneficiary records.
  • Organize community outreach sessions to raise awareness about project benefits and facilitate the distribution of information, education, and communication (IEC) materials.
  • Explain E-Voucher redemption processes and the advantages of consuming fortified wheat flour to community members.
  • Provide training on CRM and PSEA protocols to team members and other stakeholders.
  • Distribute IEC materials to retailers and health facilities, promoting the project's objectives and goals.
Field Operations Support

Support donor visits with community mobilization demonstrations and provide necessary assistance, ensuring a smooth experience for all parties involved.

Data Collection & Reporting
  • Document field challenges, success stories, and gender-disaggregated participation, providing valuable insights for program improvement.
  • Submit weekly activity reports, including photos, attendance sheets, and feedback logs, to track progress and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Assist M&E teams in conducting PDM surveys and baseline/endline data collection, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Evaluate and address any issues related to female beneficiaries' access to services, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
  • Identify vulnerable groups and develop targeted support strategies to enhance their inclusion and benefit from project interventions.
