Accountant Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounting software and a solid background in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain financial records related to insurance transactions, policies, and claims.
  2. Mastery in one of the accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to streamline financial processes.
  3. Handle insurance-specific accounts, including premium income, claims reserves, and commission tracking.
  4. Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports. Reconcile accounts and oversee financial transactions.
  5. Analyze financial data to support decision-making.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in insurance industry accounting (property, auto, life, health, or business insurance).
  • Proficiency in one of the accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
